About

Patience is the
longest exposure.

I grew up in Kenya, which has always felt like my second home. As a child, I was fortunate enough to experience safaris and spend time around Africa’s wildlife. I fell in love with the wild long before I ever picked up a camera. In 2013, I started photography, and over the years it gave me a new way to experience that same world I had been fascinated by since childhood.

I firmly believe photographers have a superpower. We can take a fleeting moment that may exist for nothing more than a fraction of a second and freeze it for eternity. That is what I am constantly looking for. The split second when light, behaviour, emotion, atmosphere and timing come together to create something that can never quite happen the same way again.

In 2022, my sister and I began a journey to document the leopards of the Maasai Mara. What started as a passion project has grown into an ongoing story called The Chui Tribe, and to date we have identified and photographed more than 50 individual leopards across the Mara ecosystem. Through my work, I hope to do more than photograph wildlife. I want to preserve moments, tell stories and hopefully make people see the natural world with a little more wonder.
